The Winds of Change

I just wanted to post a quick blog entry to say goodbye to Marco Tabini and his staff at php|architect. I've worked with them for a few years now, but all good things must come to an end, as they say.

I greatly appreciate all the opportunities they offered me, and I had the chance to meet many interesting people through my work there. It was truly a great experience, and one I'm very thankful for.

I'll still be working for and I have also signed on to Wiley as a Consulting Editor, so that elusive thing called "free time" will be forever elusive, I fear :).

(I may also have a few other things in the works... but I'll save those for another time and another post. :) )

I don't even know what to say... we've had some great times in Chicago/on the road. I trust we'll see you around though. I know whatever you put your efforts to in the future is gonna be great.

Best of luck to you Elizabeth. Seems like change is all around many prominent members of the PHP community. May your new endeavors produce much fruit for you and your family.

I know its cliche`, but it still true, Change is the only constant,

I can only imagine what things you'll bring into your future but I can't wait to hear about them. I'd wish you g'luck but that you don't need. I am hoping to hear about what great things you embark upon - but those will be "never ending". As never ending as my support, high hopes, ?

You're an incredible brave woman - I can only imagine the inflection you must have gone through to make this choice. After so long w/php|architect it would have been so easy to have stayed w/what you know.

    Thank you - you've inspired me ?

I really am looking forward to hearing what you have planned ?

Ditto, w/the lack of "free time" - but would you really want any? could you even have "free time"? Don't you just find a way to do *something* of some import w/whatever time you have? Keep it all up - just keep us all up to date.
